Team Faith is a non-profit multi-faceted Outreach Ministry that impacts people who are enthusiastic about Action Sports. We started in 1994 in the Pro Personal Watercraft Racing industry and have migrated to the Pro Motocross Racing and Freestyle Motocross industries respectively. Team Faith’s vision is to establish evangelism teams of action sports athletes led by “Pit Pastors” (Chaplains), to infiltrate professional racing circuits and other action sports events.

The early years saw Team Faith Founder Brian O'Rouke living on road while he traveled around the country sharing The Gospel of Christ at Pro Personal Watercraft racing events.  In the winter, he didn't have watercraft races, so he started going to motocross events.  He soon found a home in the AMA National Arenacross series as their series chaplain.  As things progressed, God opened the door for Brian to start hauling Robby McQuarry around to the races.  This was the first year of a "race team".  But the race team was just an opening to do ministry and even the athletes knew ministry came first.

Over the next few years, the Pro Personal Watercraft industry shifted and the races became few and far between.  As the ministry, and "race team" grew, Team Faith brought on Kevin Johnson to be their racer in AMA Arenacross, Supercross, and for Freestyle events.  Then God opened the door and the team headed North to race in, and be chaplains for the Canadian National Pro Motocross Series.  So the watercraft races fell away to a full years schedule of Arenacross, Supercross, Motocross, and Freestyle Motocross.

Team Faith maintained being the Chaplains for the AMA National Arenacross Series until it's final year in 2018.  Over the seasons, Team Faith racers included Kevin Johnson, Kelly Smith, Jeff Gibson, Gavin Gracyk, Dawson Newby, and others who all chose to use their talents to glorify their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

As the door closed to Arenacross, a door opened at Supercross.  Since the 2019 season Team Faith has been serving at the Supecross races.  We kept the race team going for years, but have since decided that we are just going to serve people, feed people, and share Jesus to the industry and privateers at Supercross.  We provide spiritual guidance and services to anyone who comes seeking and we feed everyone dinner on race day, for free.

Freestyle Motocross has been an awesome avenue to draw in a crowd and tell them how much Christ loves them!  The team has performed over 250 evangelistic jump shows at festivals, fairs, corporate events, churches and youth groups all over the country.  And back in 2008 our Kevin Johnson won a X Games Gold Medal in Speed in style.  It's fun getting hardware, but we just want to use it as an excuse to tell people about Jesus.  Today we partner with Cody Elkins, Kenny Barrtam, Alan Dixson, Rich Royster, and Justin Homan to continue providing exceptional FMX shows so we can continue to share the Gospel.  God has taken Team Faith FMX teams all over the US, Canada, to Europe, Albania, and even Egypt.  We look forward to what HE has for us next.

Over the years, Team Faith provided Spiritual Services for the GNCC Off-Road Racing Series.  We still love GNCC, but we have passed the torch to MXers for Jesus.  MXers for Jesus is another great ministry bringing light to the two wheeled world and we love that God aligned things for them to step into the GNCC series.

Brian O never lost his love for Personal Watercraft Racing.  As the racing started to come back, Team Faith went back to it's roots and both raced and provided chaplaincy for the Hydro Turf Watercross National Tour watercraft racing series for many years.  We have taken a hiatus for the past couple years, but still love watercraft racing so who knows what doors God will open as we go forward.
