(Taken from the GNCC Racing.com website) Chuck Lemaster of Team Faith has spent the past several seasons racing the GNCC aboard a bike and UTV all while making time to do chapel service each morning. We caught up with Chuck to hear more about Team Faith and what he does.
On the heels of Ryan Dungy's big Supercross win for KTM, Team Faith's Kelly Smith gets another first-time win for KTM by winning the Arenacross Class Main Event Friday night in Cedar Park, TX.
Kansas is always freezing in the winter! yep, it was 14 degrees when we arrived in the Team Faith rig to race Arenacross once again. unfortunately, we aren't really looking forward to it too much because both Kevin and Kelly were pretty banged up from the last round in Grand Rapids.
Arenacross changed their schedule this year and we were able to get 4 races under our belts before the Christmas break. It was actually rather strange to head to Grand Rapids, MI the first weekend in January and it NOT be the opening round! Thankfully, we were accustomed to what needed to be done and the flow was nice.
At Team Faith, we are each filling various roles that sometimes stretch us a bit thin! For example, Chuck Lemaster is the Team Faith chaplain for the Grand National Cross Country Racing Series (GNCC). And every other weekend he is also pit pastor, mechanic and truck driver for the Team Faith Arenacross effort. On November 4th, the Baltimore AX round was the same weekend as the GNCC finale in Tennessee. It is tough to be two places at the same time!
As Chuck alluded to in his last update, we all wear a bunch of hats here at Team Faith. Getting ready for Wilkes-Barre was no exception as both Chuck and Brian O' scrambled to get the rig interior ceiling put back together in time to leave for the long 14-hour trek to Pennsylvania. Fortunately, Miss Monica came to be brian O's co-pilot as they embarked on the journey that is Team Faith Arenacross!
Every once in a while we like to share some emails, letters and comments otherwise from folks around the country. Some are good, some are bad. At any rate, we try to be open and transparent about how people see the ministry of Team Faith. Here is some stuff we received over the past few months:

Every 3rd Thursday of the month the site www.offroadviking.com does a feature called Team Faith Thursdays where TF Pit Pastor and rider Chuck Lemaster gets an opportunity to share his heart on a short video message. Check it out!
That's right! You heard right! We now have available some brand new designs of Team Faith Merchandise and clothing! Check out our latest designs and get it in time for Christmas! Team Faith clothing is a perfect gift for someone wanting to express themselves and thier passion for moto AND Jesus! Kids sizes are available in certain models also.
While Terry, Brian O', and Monica headed to Egypt for an FMX jumpshow, the rest of the team participated in Round 2 of the National Arenacross Series in Baltimore, MD. We had some jockying around to do as longtime freind and supporter Russ Boswell had to stand-in as temporary driver for this round accompanied by our freind Greg Mau. But all went well!
K&N Filters just released an article on thier website about Team Faith winning our 2nd GNCC UTV Lites Championship! Its a great article and we are thankful to have K&N as a sponsor. Team Faith uses K&N Filters for almost every filter application we need! From personal watercraft air filters to bike filters and, of course UTV air filters as well as oil filters, K&N makes the best filters on the market. We transposed this article to our website for your viewing pleasure!
Arenacross has always had a great TV package and Team Faith is usually a staple on the programs when they air. The foolwing is the Arenacross TV Schedule for 2012. Please check local listings as things may change!
At the end of each season of a series we try to offer the opportunity to anyone who wants to get baptized. In the past we've baptized people in lakes, rivers, hotel swimming pools and in the early days on Arenacross we actually poured water over people in a bar! This past November at the last round of GNCC at Loretta Lynn's Dude Ranch, Pit Pastor Chuck had the privelege of baptizing one brave soul who was willing to get into the frigid waters of the Duck River!
Even the old guys get to win every once and a while! The last time Brian O' threw his leg over a Waveblaster to race was in 1996! But with the advent of the new Sport Spec class which enables veteran and new sport riders alike to compete at relatively very low cost, it seemed logical for Brian O' to go back to his roots in the sport to have a little fun! Congrats to him for winning the 2011 Pro Hydro-X Racing Tour Sport Spec Championship!
Team Faith is happy to announce its partnership with KTM USA for the 2012 Arenacross season. KTM is sponsoring the efforts of Team Faith on the National Arenacross Series with riders Kevin Johnson and Kelly Smith. It is the first time KTM USA has put such an effort into an Arenacross team. Team Faith will also be partnering with KTM Cycle Hutt (www.ktmcyclehutt.com) of Mandan, ND for all our KTM parts.
Do you know of a church or business that may be interested in partnering with Team Faith on the National Arenacross Series for the Team Faith Devotional Dinner where we feed upwards of 200 people? Check the schedule to see if you know anyone in the remaining 12 markets we are going to.
After an eventful yet hectic first Rd.1 in Tulsa it was not going to get any easier for Rd.2 going to Kansas City. Brian O and newcomer Dylan Bumbalough hit the road in the rig in time to make it for parking at the venue. Dylan is one of our new "free runners", and this is his first Arenacross.
Wow! Arenacross 2011 is already here and we have completed the first round. There was a LOT of work that went into this. We honestly were not sure whether we were going racing or not. As of Thanksgiving time, we did not have commitments from many of our sponsors. Normally, that’s about the time we start building bikes and go testing. This year - nothing.
For anyone who has been following our Tweets on Twitter or our Facebook entries over the past couple of weeks, you know just how hard it was to go to Egypt and perform FMX over there in a Muslim country. But now that we are back, I must say it was an absolute amazing trip!
Lary Dean of Extreme Life Ministries has been the Team Faith Road Pastor for years. He ministers to us as a team right onsite at most of our events so we can be better prepared to then minister to others. Hear his heart for Team Faith in this very candid open letter.
Team Faiths UTV effort with Chuck Lemaster driving and Brian O navigating wound up taking 2nd this year in the GNCC UTV LITES MODIFIED class! It wasnt quite the result we were looking for, but regardless, we hope Jesus was glorified!

I was very much looking forward to this race! For one, it was only an hour from home. The last GNCC required about 13 hours of driving…one way! So to be close to home was a welcome break. Secondly, I did very well at the inaugural Titan GNCC in 2009. It was very muddy with torrents of rain all week and weekend. I persevered through the muck and earned a second place in my class.
